New President of the Nagoya University Alumni Association (NUAL): Mr. Masaharu Shibata
As of November 1, 2020, Mr. Masaharu Shibata (Executive Adviser of NGK Insulators, Ltd., Former Vice President of NUAL) was inaugurated as the President of the Nagoya University Alumni Association (NUAL). He was approved to replace Dr. Shoichiro Toyoda (Honorary Chairperson of Toyota Motor Corporation) at the NUAL Council held in October. At the same time, Dr. Toyoda, who had been the President since its establishment in October 2002, became the Honorary President of NUAL on November 1.
